Committed to the long-term financial strength
and viability
of Catholic Education
THE CATHOLIC EDUCATION FOUNDATION accomplishes an important mission in our Diocese by providing financial assistance to students in our Catholic schools whose families cannot afford the cost of tuition.
About the Catholic Education Foundation

The Catholic Education Foundation is a 501(c) 3 nonprofit charitable corporation dedicated to the advancement of Catholic education in the Diocese of Joliet. The Foundation’s mission is to provide long-term financial stability and viability to Catholic education.
To meet this goal, the Foundation raises funds to have the financial resources available to give every child a chance to receive a Catholic education. The seven counties of the Diocese of Joliet are blessed to have fifty-three elementary schools and seven high schools, each striving to bring the word of God to children in a Catholic faith-based environment.
The Foundation directly distributes hundreds of need-based scholarships each year.
The Foundation is managed by a Board of Directors, which includes both clergy and lay leaders from the diocese.
