Reporting Incidents of Sexual Abuse
Sexual abuse is a sin and a crime. Victims of sexual abuse, in addition to contacting civil authorities, are asked to come forward in order to receive pastoral assistance. The Church has a responsibility to help victims of sexual abuse and to ensure that offenders are brought to justice. Reports may be made to any pastor or to Mrs. Judith Speckman at (815) 263-6467. Contact DCFS at 1-800-25-ABUSE..

El abuso sexual es un pecado y es un crimen. A las víctimas del abuso sexual, además de contactar a las autoridades civiles, se les pide que lo reporten a la Iglesia para poder recibir asistencia pastoral. La Iglesia tiene la responsabilidad de ayudar a las víctimas del abuso sexual y de asegurar que los culpables sean llevados a la justicia. Los reportes se pueden hacer a cualquier párroco o a Mrs. Judith Speckman al (815) 263-6467. Llame a DCFS al 1-800-25-ABUSE.
Zgłaszając przypadki nadużyć seksualnych
Nadużucie seksualne jest grzechem i przestępstwem kryminalnym. Ofiary nadużyć seksualnych, poza skontaktowaniem się z władzami świeckimi, mają prawo do asystencji duszpasterskiej. Kościół je zobowiązany dopomóc ofiarom nadużyć seksualnych jak też zapewnić te osoby o sprawiedliwości wymierzonej osobie, która dopuściła się nadużycia.
