Jan., 2009 - May, 2010: LITURGY CERTIFICATION PROGRAM: Plans for the implementation of the Liturgical Certification Program (LCP) are currently underway. The program is scheduled to begin January, 2009 with completion in May, 2010. Preliminary plans are in place. This program is for anyone interested in developing an understanding of the liturgical life of the Church and consists of an introductory course in liturgy (taught by a Chicago Theological Union professor), a series of formation days and several liturgy workshops.
Those interested in this program are asked to contact the Office of Divine Worship (815-838-7098) or odw@dioceseofjoliet.org . At a future date, more information will be available on the ODW website (www.dioceseofjoliet.org/odw). |

 Jan. 20-23: March of Life 2009. Bishop J. Peter Sartain is leading a pilgrimage to Washington, DC, for young people January 20-23 to March for Life . The March will include stops at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, the home of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton and sights in Washington, DC. The cost of those aged 15-21 is $240.00 including all transportation, lodging and food costs. The cost of those over the age of 21 is $360.00. | Jan. 22: March For Life Trip. Bishop Sartain invites persons to join him on the March for Life trip to Washington, D.C. held on the anniversary of the Supreme Court Decision, Roe v. Wade, January 22. The Joliet Diocesan Life Office will be sponsoring a trip leaving the evening of January 20 and returning the morning of January 23.
