Deacon Jim Dennison

Campus Minister 

at Joliet Junior College  

Deacon Jim Dennison started with the Office of Campus Ministry in August of 2006.  He has ministered at several parishes in faith formation, liturgy and music.  Jim taught at the college level for 12 years and was involved in campus ministry at Cleveland State, Ohio State and Iowa State Universities. 

Jim says, "God bless and here's to a great year!  And in the words of Tiny Tim, 'God bless us, every one!'"

Maura Neuffer

Campus Minister 

at College of DuPage

     Maura started with the Office of Campus Ministry in the Fall of 2003.  She holds a BA in Development Studies from the University of California at Berkeley, an MS.Ed. from Northern Illinois University and a Certificate from the Institute for Spiritual Companionship of Diocese of Joliet.  She is currently pursuing further studies in Theology to become a certified campus minister.

     Maura lives in Lisle with her husband and one daughter.  Two of Maura's children are away at school.  She is a parishioner at St. Thomas the Apostle in Naperville.

     Maura takes particular interest in facilitating spiritual growth among young adults through prayer, social activities and service opportunities and eco-theology, interfaith dialogue and justice and peace issues.

Kevin A. O'Donnell

  Director of the Office of Campus Ministry

Catholic Campus Minister at Midwestern University and North Central College and Catholic Co-Chaplain at Elmhurst College

     Kevin began working with the Diocese of Joliet in Campus Ministry in the summer of 2002 and has worked professionally in campus ministry since 1995.   He holds a BA in Social Work and an MA in Leadership Studies, both from Lewis University, a certificate in Pastoral Studies from Catholic Theological Union in Chicago where he is currently a doctoral student.

  Kevin lives in Lockport with his wife and two children.  They belong to Sacred Heart Church in Joliet and also attend St. Pat's in Lemont where Kevin directs the Life Teen Choir for Lemont Youth Ministry.
