The Busy Person’s Retreat You don't not have the time. Dates for the 08/09 School Year will be posted over the summer. About the Retreat: The Busy Person's Retreat is a simple way for you to spend some time in prayer and reflection for just a few days without having to give up other things on your schedule. You will spend one half hour of your time in personal prayer each day. We provide a prayer resource prayer that you may choose to use. Then, you schedule one half hour appointment each day with a Spiritual Companion. That's it. Pure, simple and very good. It is open to all students and faculty/staff. A $5 donation is requested.

"I think it was a very rewarding experience spiritually because it allowed me time to take a step back and not worry about all the stressors in my life. I also learned something new; how to read and pray Lectio divina, which was actually quite beautiful. I feel I really learned a lot in doing the Lectio Divina because it made me focus on a particular scripture passage that really pertained to the happenings in my life. I felt I was really able to reflect on it and see spiritual parallels it had in my life. I think the Busy Person's retreat is a great idea as it always is nice to speak with religious sisters to help you get 'back on track' with your faith." Allison, North Central Senior |
