Administrative Opening - St. Philip the Apostle, Addison

St. Philip the Apostle Catholic School located in Addison, IL (Western suburb of Chicago) is seeking a principal for the 2010-2011 school year. St. Philip's is a PreK - 8 school, with approximately 330 students. The school has been in operation since 1965 and is one ministry of the St. Philip the Apostle Parish.  St. Philip's is accredited through the state of Illinois and is part of the Diocese of Joliet.

Candidate qualifications are as follows:

*   Must meet qualifications set forth by the Diocese of Joliet and the state of Illinois

*   Experienced, inspiring and committed to advancing and enriching the school's mission in an   environment that cultivates faith formation and fosters academic excellence for all students

*   Ability to provide an atmosphere in our school that is identifiably Catholic

*   Ability to facilitate communications and develop positive human relationships with teachers, staff, parents, the parish and the community.

*   Demonstrates a knowledge of sound fiscal management and ability to work cooperatively with the parish.

Administrative Openings

In order to be considered for an Administrative position, the candidate must be a practicing Catholic with at least 5 years experience preferably in a Catholic school. Administrative experience preferred. The candidate must possess a Type 75 Certificate.
