BENET ACADEMY WHO WE ARE Benet Academy, then known as St. Procopius Academy, was established in 1887 by the Benedictine Monks. For 122 years, Benet Academy has maintained its Benedictine and Catholic identity. Our students grow in their faith through the opportunities afforded them to worship, reflect on God's word, pray, engage in Christian service and study the Christian faith in the context of the Catholic and Benedictine tradition. ACADEMIC PHILOSOPHY We impart to our students that learning is a life long process that begins with serious individual effort and continues through class work, home studies, tests and application to life. We provide a college preparatory environment characterized by high expectations and respect for academic excellence. ACADEMIC PROFILE
