HISTORY & ENROLLMENT 2008-09 is Driscoll Catholic's 42nd year. Enrollment stands at350 students. MISSION
Driscoll Catholic High School educates young men and women of diverse backgrounds, with a special concern for the working class and the poor, in the tradition of St. John Baptiste de la Salle’s ideals of faith, service, and community, in a Catholic comprehensive college preparatory school where we proudly proclaim our faith in God.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
Driscoll students are held to the highest academic standard – a true college preparatory experience. Courses are taught to challenge students to think critically, covering material that demands students go beyond what they think they can achieve. Three academic program levels are utilized to create a curriculum that is individualized for each student, allowing his or her unique talents to flourish. An average class size of 21 allows students to get maximum attention from their instructors. This is why 100% of Driscoll graduates are accepted to college and 98% of them go on to succeed in colleges and universities nationwide. CHRISTIAN VALUES
At Driscoll Catholic, students learn to celebrate their faith in God. Students share their gifts through service and grow in Christian values. Religion classes are a part of every student’s curriculum and cover religious history and doctrine, but also how to share this religious tradition in their day-to-day lives. Prayer is an integral part of a Driscoll student’s school day, and students model the example of our patron, St. John Baptiste de la Salle. SCHOOL BOARD ROSTER AND OFFICERS Mr. Hank Steerman Br.
