HISTORY & ENROLLMENT

Established in 1960, Maternity B. V. M. had a 2006-2007 enrollment of 291 in
its K - 8th Grade program and offers an extended care program.

MISSION

The mission of Maternity B.V.M. Elementary School is to prepare the youth of the community to live Christian lives in today's complex and technology-based society and in the world of tomorrow by providing an identifiably Catholic and academically excellent curriculum. This is achieved by: providing a model for living the faith that is based on the actions and message of Jesus; by sharing with parents the responsibility for the education of their child; by providing a curriculum that is vital and current, one that challenges each student to academic excellence based on his/her potential; by maintaining a close and clear relationship among parents, students, faculty, parish staff and parishioners; by making Maternity B.V.M. Elementary School available to as many children in the community as possible; and, by meeting the financial needs of Maternity B.V.M. Elementary School through the united support of informed parents and parish community.
