HISTORY & ENROLLMENT

Established in 1953, St. Irene had a 2006-2007 enrollment of 177 in its preschool and K Ð 8th Grade program.
 

MISSION

St. Irene Catholic School exists because the Administration, the Staff, the Parents and the Parish members that send their children to the school believe that: the school offers an atmosphere in which the teachings of Jesus and the tenets of the Catholic faith can be learned and lived; that the school offers an opportunity for the children to develop as a person receiving a strong foundation spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, physically and socially; that the school promotes the pursuit of excellence by developing independent thinkers who have initiative and desire for continuous learning; and, that the school, empowered by the Holy Spirit preaches, teaches and proclaims the good news of Jesus with both actions and words.
