MISSION St. James the Apostle School is committed to the threefold purpose of Christian Education as defined by the National Conference of Catholic Bishops: To proclaim the Word - To build community - and To serve God and mankind. St. James the Apostle strives to provide each child with a challenging academic program rooted in the beliefs, values and traditions of Catholic Christianity; to enable each child to discover and develop his God-given ability in spirit, mind and body; to guide each child in acquiring the skills, virtues, and habits of heart and mind that are required for effective service to God, self and mankind; to promote involvement between the child's home and St. James School in order to further the shared role of education between the parents (the primary educators of their children), guardians and teachers; and, to recognize the role of the school in the light of the ministry of education professed by the entire St. James parish community.
