HISTORY & ENROLLMENT Established in 1957, St. Joseph School had a 2006-2007 enrollment of 140 in its preschool and K - 8th Grade program and offers an extended care program. MISSION To integrate religious instruction, values, and faith development into the St. Joseph School academic education. PHILOSOPHY St. Joseph has been from its founding a coeducational school committed to the development of Catholic Education. St. Joseph's is dedicated to a traditional curriculum, a belief in equal standards for both sexes, the development of high moral character, and a true spirit of Christian Community. In keeping with Catholic tradition, St. Joseph is committed to proclaiming the word of God, to building community, and to serving God and mankind. The purpose of the preschool through eighth grade educational program at St. Joseph is to develop a sound knowledge of the traditional academic disciplines, and the attitudes necessary to use these skills as life-long learners. The faculty strives to foster and environment that recognizes the cultural diversity and individual differences, as the primary educators, St. Joseph's strives to produce a relationship of trust and support among all members of the church and parish including students, parents, teachers, and Board Members, all of whom are joined in a common goal of quality Catholic Education.
