St. Raphael Elementary School
Naperville, IL
HISTORY & ENROLLMENT Established in 1961, St. Raphael had a 2007-2008 enrollment of 320 in its K - 8th Grade program. MISSION We at St. Raphael Elementary School, serving grades kindergarten through eight, believe our mission to educate the whole child - spiritual and moral, intellectual and physical, social and emotional - through a planned curriculum which is sequential an based on the varying needs and learning styles of the students. We believe in encouraging academic excellence, respect for oneself and others, and responsibility for one's actions. We believe that this can only be accomplished though a partnership of the home and school. We believe that the parents are the primary educators of their children and that our educational process complements their efforts. We seek, recognize and encourage active parental involvement in the education process and realize that such involvement is essential to the success of St. Raphael School. We believe our co-educational Catholic school has an active role in the teaching mission of the Catholic Church. We believe in providing our students with opportunities which will develop a community of faith in service to our parish community as well as to others.
