HOW TO MAKE A MATCHING GIFT

Many Parishioners work for or are retired from companies that match funds to grade schools in the diocese and three colleges where our seminarians study: University of St. Mary of the Lake, "Conception Seminary College (*North Central Accredited) or Sacred Heart School of Theology.

1. Very Important: Determine when you make your initial pledge if it will be a Matching Gift. Indicate on your pledge card that it will be a Matching Gift and fill in only the amount you are contributing.

2. Complete and sign a Matching Gift form from your employer. If your company has an automated system and does not require a form, please indicate that on your plege card.

3. Make your check payable to the school of your choice -- not your parish or the Appeal.

4. Mail your pledge card, check and company Matching Gift form (if required) to the Development Office. Do not mail directly to the school or university. Please indicate "Matching Gift" on the front of the envelope.
