Two Aspirants from the Class of 2016 will receive the Rite of Candidacy and one Candidate from the Class of 2013 will receive the Rite of Acolyte at the Pastoral Center at 7:30 pm.  Bishop Siegel will be presiding.  Deacons and priests are invited to vest.

Spring Community Meeting

Our Spring Community Meeting will be held on Saturday morning, June 8th here at the Pastoral Center in Room 155 beginning with Morning Prayer at 9:00 am.  Elections for Community Board members will be among the agenda items for this meeting.  As in the past, it will be a pot-luck.  Any of your favorite Breakfast casseroles, fresh fruit, bagels, donuts or juice will be welcomed

Fr. John Paul Cafiero, OFM, Retreat Master

Fr. John Paul has previously conducted retreats for deacons and wives in the Diocese with excellent reviews.

Sep 20-22, 2013       

Deacons only  Retreat, Stritch Center, Mundelein                

Deacon John Freund, Retreat Master

Deacon John, along with others, will lead a retreat entitled Filled with the Spirit and Wisdom (Acts 6:3).  Priests will be available for Reconciliation and Mass.

Oct 4-6, 2013

Mark Nimo, Retreat Master

Mark Nimo is a lay evangelist from Uganda, now living with his wife and children in Chicago.  Mark has lead retreats and events nationally and internationally.  Mark is dynamic in word and song.  Priests will be available for Reconciliation and Mass.
