QUICK OVERVIEW OF WHERE WE ARE

We are located on the southwest corner of Route 53 (Independence Blvd.) & Airport Road. Airport Road is one stoplight north of Lewis University and one stoplight south of Taylor Road (Romeoville High School). The Pastoral Center is a 3-story brown brick building that sits back on the property, having the appearance of a school. There is an animal hospital on the opposite corner. Access to our parking lot is from Airport Road only.
Important note: Airport Road no longer goes through from Weber Road

DO NOT USE MAPQUEST OR GPS AS DIRECTIONS ARE WRONG!!!
Also, the southern extension of I-355 is also known as the Veterans Memorial Tollway. However, it is a fairly new road and may not yet be included on some older maps.

FROM SOUTHBOUND I-55 ( Downtown Chicago & Midway Airport)

Take I-55 South approximately 45 miles. As you approach the I-355 interchange, you will see an exit for Joliet Road. Exit onto Joliet Road – which only runs southbound from this point. Approximately 2 miles ahead Joliet Road will merge with Route 53. DO NOT MAKE ANY TURNS. Continue south on Route 53 (also known as Independence Blvd.) approximately 7 miles. You will pass Normantown Road, Romeo Road & Taylor Road. The next light after Taylor Road is Airport Road – which comes up after a blind curve. Turn right onto Airport Road and then make an immediate left into our parking lot. IF you reach Lewis University – you’ve gone one light too far and will have to turn around and come back.

FROM NORTHBOUND I-55 ( St. Louis)

Exit at Route 53/Bolingbrook Drive, turning right at the bottom of the ramp. Proceed approximately 1 mile where Route 53 will merge with Joliet Road. Make a soft right turn to continue on Route 53 south - also known as Independence Blvd. Proceed approximately 7 miles passing Normantown Road, Romeo Road & Taylor Road. The next light after Taylor Road is Airport Road – which comes up after a blind curve. Turn right onto Airport Road and then make an immediate left into our parking lot. IF you reach Lewis University – you’ve gone one light too far and will have to turn around and come back.

FROM I-355 (the Western Suburbs)

Take I-355 South to the Joliet Road exit. Continue on Joliet Road – which only runs southbound at this point - approximately 2 miles where it will merge with Route 53.

FROM I-80 ( Indiana, Iowa & Southern Suburbs)

From either direction exit at I-355 North. Continue north on I-355 approximately 6 miles to the 159th St. exit. Turn left from the exit ramp and follow 159th St. west approximately 3 miles as it winds through downtown Lockport. Go through the stoplight at State St. and over the big bridge. Route 53 is the first stoplight on the other side of the bridge – turn right and go north on Route 53. Go to 2nd stoplight (Lewis University is the first) which is Airport Road. Turn left onto Airport Road and make another immediate left into our parking lot.

FROM WISCONSIN & O’HARE AIRPORT

Take I-294 South to I-55 South and follow Southbound I-55 directions above.

PLEASE NOTE: While we have signage on Route 53, it is sometimes difficult to see. Furthermore, Lewis University uses a portion of our building for their classes. Hence you will see a sign on Airport Road that references Lewis University, however, you are in the right place. We apologize for any confusion.
