April 1	*NATURAL FAMILY PLANNING CLASSES:* NFP classes are held at St. Charles Borromeo Pastoral Center on the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Contact Karen Buchert 630-551-1712 for more information. (Session 1 of 2 sessions) Also, instructor Lupita Sorich teaches NFP on the fourth Thursday of each month from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Provena St. Mary Hospital in Kankakee. April 11-13	*ENGAGED ENCOUNTER:* Catholic Engaged Encounter sponsors weekends to prepare couples for marriage. Engaged couples are given the opportunity to talk honestly and intensively about their prospective life together. Topics include an assessment of the couple’s strengths and weaknesses, ambitions and goals, attitudes about money, sex, children, family, and relationship to the Church. Personal reflection and communication are the main focus. Engaged Encounter is approved as a marriage preparation program. April 26	MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT : This one-day conference, sponsored by parishes in Naperville & Lisle will feature Dr. Brent Atkinson, who will speak to married couples about "Breaking the Cana Code; Secrets of a Successful Marriage." The conference takes place at the Krasa Center of Benedictine University from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m. The cost is $25 per couple through April 12, 2008 and $30 per couple from April 13- 25. August 10august 10	DIOCESAN WEDDING ANNIVERSARY MASS: The Thirtieth Annual Wedding Anniversary Mass will begin at 2:00 p.m. (earlier than previous years) at the Cathedral of St Raymond in Joliet, IL. The celebrant will be Bishop J. Peter Sartain. All couples are welcome to attend. More information will be forthcoming, so please mark your calendars!
