Food for the Hungry

The corporal and spiritual works of mercy are the aims and means of Laudato Si’ Ministries. The corporal work of mercy feed the hungry is a practical initiative of our ministry. If you want to get involved contact Kayla S. Jacobs, Director of Programs for Laudato Si’ Ministries, at: kjacobs@dioceseofjoliet.org

Feed the Hungry:

  • ·We encourage and help our parishes start community gardens to feed the hungry in their communities.
  • We research and help write grants for our parishes to increase their food relief efforts.
