"Fatima Tour for Peace"
St. Walter, Roselle

September 16-17, 2018          9:00PM

The International Pilgrim Virgin statue of Our Lady of Fatima will be visiting  St. Walter Church, in Roselle, from Sept. 16 until Sept. 17.  The parish will welcome the statue with a 9 p.m. procession around the campus on Sunday evening, Sept. 16, and hold a 24-hour vigil of prayer and devotions.
Please save this date to join the parish in prayer through the intercession of Our Lady of Fatima for peace in our world.

"A Blessing for the Neighborhood: Dorothy Day"

A two part presentation on the life and legacy of Dorothy Day, a prominent reformer and social organizer who founded a radical Christian movement committed to working for justice, eradicating poverty, and helping the needy. Deacon Keith Strohm will present anew the Proclamation of God’s plan for us in this parish mission.  He will explore what it means to form an intimate personal relationship with Jesus, and how living out this relationship frees us from bondage to the powers of sin and death and offers us fulfillment and joy in this life and the next.

Deacon Strohm is the former director of the Office for the New Evangelization and a deacon for the Archdiocese of Chicago.
