Adult Faith Leadership Association presents:
"Missionary Leadership" with Keith Strohm

Thursday, January 18, 2018  9:00-3:00PM
Blanchette Catholic Center, Crest Hill

The greatest need in the Church today is for leaders who are able to build and sustain cultures of discipleship and mission in the parish.  This is not only a matter of personal conversion, but pastoral conversion, a fundamental rethinking of our assumptions, attitudes, and approaches to ministry.  Join us for Keith Strohm who will provide participants with a framework to journey through this pastoral conversion and wrestle with its implications on a personal and communal level.  For more information contact Karen in the REO at 815-221-6147.

Men's Weekend Retreat
Bellarmine Jesuit Retreat House, Barrington

Friday, January 19 through Sunday, January 21, 2018

Bellarmine Jesuit Retreat House is committed to fostering the spiritual development of Catholics and other people of faith through a variety of retreats and contemporary programs that are grounded in the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola.  Located on 80 acres of gently rolling meadows and wooded countryside, we offer many weekend retreats in addition to 8-day, midweek, single-overnight, daylong and evening retreats.  Some of these retreats are adapted specifically for Veterans and their families, and others for those working a 12-Step addiction recovery program.  Our retreats are an opportunity to find a more deeply profound and personal relationship with God.  The silence is a "pathway to God", providing time for private reflection and personal prayer. For more information, pricing, and availability contact events@jesuitretreat.org or 847-381-1261.  Visit their website HERE.
