RCIA "Beginnings" Institute

August 14-16, 2008

St. Anne Parish, Oswego, IL

Parish Liturgists/Liturgy Coordinators, Catechumenate Directors and Teams, Pastors and Associates, and Music Ministers are invited to an intensive three-day institute in partnership with the North American Forum on the Catechumenate. The Institute seeks to provide participants with the vision and dynamics of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. This Institute is designed to provide working knowledge of the flow of the initiation process and how to challenge participants to explore the connection between good liturgy and good catechesis.

Each year the Office of Divine Worship & Catechumenate provides training for interested parish liturgical ministers. This year we will be focusing on the following workshops:

Environment & Art

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Training the Lector Trainers

(those who train lectors at parish level)

Usher/Greeters
