There are four Council commissions organized geographically: East DuPage, West DuPage, Southeast Counties and West Counties.  Commission responsibilities include reflecting on the major challenges, opportunities or obstacles that confront the diocesan Church; determining possible action; proposing recommendations, and, if needed, preparing reports of commission activities.  Commission members also plan the Liturgy celebrated at each meeting.

The East DuPage Commission is composed of members whose parish is from Cluster 1 and Cluster 3 within the Diocese.

The West DuPage Commission is made up of members whose parish is from Cluster 2 or Cluster 4 within the Diocese.

The Southeast Counties Commission is made up of members whose parish is from Cluster 5, Cluster 6, or Cluster 8 within the Diocese.

The West Counties Commission is made up of members whose parish is from Cluster 7, Cluster 9, or Cluster 10 within the Diocese.
