Finding God in the Summer Blockbusters

Whether it's big action movies, fun romantic comedies, or special effects masterpieces, the summer is a great time to unwind with a bucket of popcorn in a nice air-conditioned movie theatre.  Using Catholic discernment tools, come and hear the voice of God speaking to us in those enjoyable popcorn flicks - teaching us, challenging us, and inspiring us beyond the closing credits.

Finding God in Star Trek

Boldly go where no one has gone before.  With a new Star Trek movie opening this summer, it's a great time to look at what Kirk and Spock have been telling us all along about the Gospel message of Christ, and how to transform our world today into a future full of hope and possibility.

An Adult Guide to Finding God in Harry Potter

Come find God in the footsteps of literature's most famous "seeker," Harry Potter.  Children love the Harry Potter movies and books, but there is even more for adults to discover about life and faith in these stories.  As the newest Harry Potter movie opens this summer, what might God be saying to us in the midst of Hogwarts, quiddich, dragons, owls, and sorting hats?

OTHER SPEAKERS:

Other national speakers, such as Sr. Helena Burns FSP and Sr. Rose Pacatte may also be available to speak at your parish. Please contact them directly.
