Tools for Student Evaluation

Although grades are not commonly given for faith formation, catechists can observe and evaluate students for signs of appropriate cooperation, participation, understanding and evidence of faith and Catholic practice.

The tools below help catechists to do that, so that parish leaders and parents can gauge the effectiveness of the faith formation experience for individual students.  Parishes may retain the diocesan logo and information at the top or customize and edit the documents with particular parish information.

Both the PDF or Word format of these tools can be filled out electronically and emailed, or printed out and used to enhance conversation with parents.
