MEDIA CENTER SERVICES

The Media Center serves the catechetical needs of lifelong formation in the Diocese of Joliet. Through its various resources, the center assists parishes, schools, and diocesan agencies in providing the foundations for effective faith formation:

• almost 6,500 catechetical and religious affiliated dvds, videos.
• on-site access to various catechetical periodicals and magazines
• consultations with parishes and clusters on using media in ministry

It is only legal to show full-length feature films without a license

during the school day, as part of the regular school curriculum.

You may not use films, without a license, in after school programs,

youth activities, retreats, catechetical programs, etc. To obtain

a license from Christian Video Licensing at http://cvli.com.

Licenses are available for one time use as well.  The clips available

from http://www.WingClips.com, http://www.FilmClipsOnline.com (guides

for Catholic schools and catechetical programs are in preparation), are already licensed for use. For more information about licensing
