Parent Faith Formation Resources 

Here are resources to help Catholic parents enrich their faith and understanding of Catholic teaching. Books can be obtained from your local Catholic bookstore. Videos are available directly from publisher or REO Media Center rental, newsletters, pamphlets, directly from publisher.

The Catechism of the Catholic Church (rev. 1997)
Every home should have one for adult formation and to help parents answer questions from children and youth. 

Discovering Your Gifts, Vision and Call (Jacqueline McMakin and Rhonda Nary, Harper Collins Pub.)
Can be used individually or in small groups or on retreat. This book is designed to help people to discern God’s call and to work together and within the larger community to spread the Kingdom.

Originally designed for catechist formation, the knowledge tapes have been used with great success for parent meetings, RCIA, and general adult formation classes.

The Faithful Revolution (Video – Thomas More division of RCL)
Set of 6 videos on the Second Vatican Council and its meaning for Catholic life today.
