| Description |
The letters of St. Paul are notoriously difficult to understand. As with any ancient text, we lack that original setting – cultural, religious, linguistics, etc., in which it was written and in which they were first read. Even those who were much closer to Paul’s setting, as the author of the Second Letter of Peter notes, had difficulty understanding his writings. Father Bill’s presentation will present the original setting for Paul and his letters. Within that context we will be better prepared to more deeply appreciate the theology and spirituality of the great apostle Paul. |
