Resources for Catholic Adults

Looking for information about adult sacraments?

Considering baptism as an adult? Are you a Christian from another faith tradition thinking about joining the Catholic Church? Are you a baptized Catholic who has not had formal religious instruction or received First Communion or Confirmation? Over age 16 and wish to complete your Confirmation?

Please call the Catholic church nearest to you for more information about required preparation sessions for the Sacraments of Initiation. Normally celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation for adults takes place in the parish on the night before Easter. Baptized Catholics who have already received First Communion celebrate Confirmation at St. Raymond's Cathedral on the feast of Pentecost (in late May or early June) with Bishop Conlon, after preparation at their home parish.
