"The Theology on Tap series, which was born in 1981 at St. James Parish in Arlington Heights, Il., has been altered over the years, but essentially it is designed to reach an age group that craves a connection with faith and action... The current selection of presentations ...is intended to ignite an interest in participation at the Church.."

What is Theology on Tap? Each summer, the Diocese of Joliet (in partnership with the Archdiocese of Chicago) hosts several weeks of insightful speakers, thought-provoking conversations, and great conversations and networking at several sites around the south and western suburbs of Chicago. Who comes to Theology-on-Tap? Theology-on-Tap is open to all men and women in college and in their twenties and thirties, Catholic or otherwise, who are married, engaged, dating, and single. When is the next Theology-on-Tap? Join us this coming July 2008. The next summer season will begin with a Diocesan Theology-on-Tap Kick-Off with Joliet Bishop J. Peter Sartain on Thursday, July 10, 2008, at the St. Charles Borromeo Pastoral Center in Romeoville. For the next three weeks (from July 13 to 31), young adults will gather at several locations (colleges, restaurants, and churches) around the Diocese of Joliet for speakers and conversation. The season will conclude with a Chicagoland Finale Mass & Picnic on Sunday, August 3, 2008, at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago where Bishop Sartain and Francis Cardinal George will concelebrate the liturgy and meet and mingle with young adults afterwards. INTERESTED IN HOSTING THEOLOGY-ON-TAP? If you want to host Theology-on-Tap, or work with several other nearby parishes, colleges, or young adults, please contact Paul Jarzembowski at the Diocese of Joliet.
