Lenten Resources & Opportunities More people attend Catholic services on Ash Wednesday and participate in Lenten experiences than they do on any given Sunday throughout the year... so what are we doing about it? ___________________________________ Download the "Sparks from Ashes" document here. This quick program outlines the issues related to evangelization related to Ash Wednesday and a list of practical ideas to respond at the parish, produced by the Diocese of Joliet Young Adult Ministry Office. __________________________________ One way to welcome the visitors to church on Ash Wednesday is by distributing this special pamphlet: Ash Wednesday: A Great Day to Reconnect Click here to download a pdf version of the flyer. This pamphlet outlines the basics of Ash Wednesday and invites readers to go a little deeper in Lent. Consider putting these pamphlets in each pew on Ash Wednesday to welcome visitors and infrequent Mass-goers to your church. You can also insert a half-page size listing of upcoming events or parish contacts within the pamphlet booklet if you wish. __________________________________
