	Come to the Banquet: Nourishing Our Spiritual Hunger (by Tim Muldoon, Sheed & Ward, 2002) is a book aimed at young adult seekers to show how the Christian spiritual tradition might be able to nourish them. Centered around the theme of a meal where all are welcome at the table, this easy-to-read book addresses spiritual questions about the meaning of life, prayer, a relationship with God and relationships with others, and what Jesus has to do with us and our lives.

	Spirituality at Work: 10 Ways to Balance Your Life on the Job (by Gregory F. A. Pierce, Loyola Press, 2001) is a guide for any young adult working in the world today (regardless of a person's job, location, or tasks). In an enjoyable and easy-to-read way (and using great Catholic traditions and prayers), author Gregory Pierce outlines ten practical ways to balance life and work, home and office, as well as our Catholic faith and our careers and dreams in the world today.

	Losing Your Religion, Finding Your Faith: Spirituality for Young Adults (by Fr. Brett C. Hoover, Paulist Press, 1998) is a great read for any college students who strugle with their faith. According to Fr. Brett Hoover, losing one's religion is just a part of our growth process, but what really defines us is the real challenge to find a vibrant, honest, and relevant adult appreciation of faith and belief. On a college campus, this is a great resource when questions and doubt arise.

	Messy Spirituality: God's Annoying Love for Imperfect People (by Michael Yaconelli, Zondervan, 2002) is the book for anyone who has ever thought, "I am not spiritual enough" or "I don't read my Bible enough" or "I don't pray enough." This fun book by the late great Michael Yaconelli helps us understand that faith in God can be messy and imperfect, and despite all this, that we can still be loved unconditionally by God in the midst of a messy and unpredictable life.

	Spiritual But Not Religious? An Oar Stroke Closer to the Farther Shore (by Reid B. Locklin, Liturgical Press, 2005) is a conversation with young adults who consider themselves spiritual but not religious. In this book, Locklin shares his story of conversion for Christ, and goes onto invite readers to consider institutions such as the Church anew and see them not as obstacles to spiritual fulfillment but as rafts that continually bring us an oar stroke closer to the farther shore.

	Letters to a Young Catholic (by George Weigel, Basic Books, 2004) is a series of letters from noted Catholic commentator George Weigel addressed to young adults today. He shares personal stories and trips to holy sites around the world to give young adults some of the building blocks of the Catholic faith that has nourished him well, as well as giving reflections on topics such as grace, prayer, sin andforgiveness, suffering, and most importantly, God's love.
