At his Wednesday audience in Rome on May 15, Pope Francis told the crowd, "Let's ask ourselves what steps we are taking so that the faith guides our existence." He said there are no "part-time Christians, at certain moments, in certain circumstances, in certain choices. You can't be a Christian that way. You are Christians at all times, completely." |

Most of us tend to look to summer, in one way or another for some time off... from school, from work, from all sorts of other obligations. Enjoy the break, but consider il papa's message- as for our Christianity, we're on, completely. |

Happy to share with you that our office and several other groups around the Diocese of Joliet are helping out with some summer hapenings so we can engage our faith and learn more about our faith, deepen our practice and use our faith to guide our complete existence. |

Our office has also published a little booklet of events for the summer.
