Calling all Catholic actors, musicians, dancers

and theater techies ages 18-30!

Garden logo

Garden is an original musical about Adam and Eve told in the spirit of St. John Paul II's Theology of the Body. Written by Joey Martineck. Music written by Greg and Lizzy Boudreaux, inspired by their album, To the Dust.

GARDEN TIMELINE:

  • Auditions & Call Backs for Garden - Tuesday-Thursday, 7-10p May 26, 27, 28at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Lombard.
  • Rehearsals will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic School in Lombard: Mon/Wed/Fri from 7-10p AND Saturdays 10a-2p starting Saturday, May 30.
  • Rehearsal schedule will be posted keeping in mind each actors time commitment. We will do our best to maintain a tight rehearsal schedule.
  • Tickets will go on sale Monday, June 1.
  • Load sets and Tech Rehearsals Goodwin Hall at Benedictine University  July 18-21TBD.
  • Dress Rehearsal 7-10p Wednesday, July 22at Goodwin Hall at Benedictine University.
  • Garden Productions at Goodwin Hall at Benedictine University at 7p on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, July 23, 24 & 25and an additional Matinee at 3p on Saturday, July 25.

  1. Musicians - Piano, Drums, Violin, Cello, Ukulele, Electric Guitar, Base Guitar, Acoustic Guitar.
  2. Technical support - Sound board, Light board, Costumes, Props
  3. Set Construction - We need materials, space and labor.
  4. Administrative support - ticket sales, marketing, Social Media support
