Affordability and Financial Assistance

Affordability

The Diocese of Joliet and our 50 schools believe that a Catholic education should be available, accessible and affordable to any family who wants to provide their child with a quality education in a faith-filled Catholic environment. Families who commit to Catholic elementary or high school education for their children do so because it is their desire to provide a learning community that supports the faith and values taught at home.

We know that Catholic education changes lives, but that each family situation is different. We want to make Catholic education a reality for your child no matter your financial circumstance. Plus, our schools may be more affordable than you think! Last year, more than $6 million in financial assistance was awarded to families attending Diocese of Joliet Catholic schools.

For school-specific tuition and enrollment information, contact your local school directly.

Financial Assistance

While families must contribute something, we strive to ensure that if there is a desire to have a Catholic education, we will work with a family to provide it.

Your investment goes toward providing formation in the Catholic faith and superior academic education. Our students are prepared for success in further education, a productive career and a life eternal with God.

If you believe that a Catholic school education is worth the investment and important for your children, learn more about the financial assistance options available.

We also encourage you to speak with your school’s admissions coordinator, principal or parish leader to learn more about the options available for affording one of the greatest gifts you can give your child.

Many families need and receive financial assistance. It is available from a number of private and parish-based programs including scholarships, grants, endowments and reductions in tuition based on individual need.
