Energy Efficiency

We believe in faithful responsibility to reduce our carbon footprint as a Church & individuals. We promote energy audits and energy efficacy projects.

  • Faith in Place can connect you to skilled volunteers and trusted local organizations to help reduce energy use and greenhouse gas emissions at your house of worship and in the homes of members of your faith community. Find more information about their Energy Audit and Retrofit program here.
  • Catholic Energies works exclusively with Catholic organizations to provide expertise to design, implement, and finance sustainable projects that reduce energy costs, enabling your organization to use those savings in support of your critical ministries.
  • Contact Kayla Jacobs, Director of Programs for Laudato Si’ Ministries, to learn about ways to engage your parish with energy efficacy initiatives: kjacobs@dioceseofjoliet.org.
