World Mission Sunday, the annual celebration of the Church’s global missions, will take place on October 24 this year. This collection serves as a worldwide effort to provide for the strengthening of more than 1,000 local churches in Asia and Africa, the Pacific Islands, and parts of Latin America and Europe. Through the work of these churches and their witness to Christ, the poor receive practical help and experience God's love, mercy, and peace.

Bishop Hicks loved his time as a missionary working as a priest in El Salvador. As we look to World Mission Sunday this weekend, he reminds us we can all be missionaries when we put our faith into action. #WMS2021 #WorldMissionSunday

#dmm2021 #DomingoMundialDeLasMisiones
