A Catholic Response to the War in Ukraine
As we watch war and a refugee crisis developing in Ukraine and its surrounding neighbors, it is important to present the situation in the context of Catholic teaching about war, solidarity with the suffering etc. Additionally, Pope Francis has asked for all of us to dedicate our Ash Wednesday prayer and penance for peace in Ukraine.
