Resources for Multicultural Ministry

Around the diocese there are a number of different ethnic and immigrant groups. Certainly the largest group consists of Hispanics (mostly from Mexico) but no matter what their country of origin, parish leaders and catechists are called to make all people feel welcome and included in the life of the local church. Providing catechesis to them requires an understanding not just of their languages, but of the differences in culture and outlook they may have from the ones in which we live and function.
