You can learn about many great Catholic topics - Scripture, Prayer, Liturgy, Media Mindfulness and much more - year-round from the convenience of your home computer. You can also

  •     Participate day or night on the message-board format at your convenience
  •     Learn and grow with other Catholic adults from around the country and world
  •     Get a discounted price because of our diocesan partnership (5-week courses, just $50, a $65 savings over the non-partner price)
  •     Use your online courses can toward a certificate program equivalent to Diocese of Joliet Catechist Certification
  •     Can apply for VLCFF Certificate programs in Catechesis, Lay Ministry Leadership, or Adult Formation Leadership
  •     Can apply VLCFF course to annual catechist formation (6-hour minimum requirement) See hours equivalency.

FINANCIAL AID: If you wish to pursue a certificate program and have completed at least one full year of employment with a parish or are a volunteer with at least three years of demonstrated leadership abilities within a parish setting and a specialization in a catechetical ministry, you may be considered for FULL FUNDING REIMBURSEMENT for the cost of VLCFF tuition by the Catholic Education Foundation.
