2022 JDCCS Day of Recollection 

 Saturday,  February 26, 2022 

Our Lady of Peace*    Darien, IL

 

 The theme for 2022 is Trust! 

 

The event is open to all registered scouts, grades K-12, from American Heritage Girls, all levels of Girl Scouts, Camp Fire Youth, Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, & Venturers. 

 

Note that those in grades K-5 must have a parent or guardian present. Chaperones must also register. Space is limited, so register your troop/youth early. Adult Scouts attending the event with or for their unit/troop members but not as their chaperones will also need to register. Register in advance. NO WALK-INS ALLOWED.

 

The registration fee is $5 for Scouts and no charge for parents/adults acting as chaperones. Registration Closes February 21, 2022 - forms must be received by that date. Please register early if possible. Fee will include a patch and totem.

 

ALL properly filled out forms must be received BEFORE February 21, 2022.

If you were at either of the last events, bring your totem back with you to get new beads addedAlso, each Scout should bring their own water bottle!

 

 

*A VIRTUAL PROGRAM is also planned in case COVID-19 restrictions prevent meeting in person at the church. The Committee MUST have an email address for each participant and permission for the child to participate online. An email will be sent to parents and to the Scout's own email with instructions on how to participate in the virtual program. Note: the fee will remain the same. Any materials for the virtual retreat will be e-mailed out ahead of time. Patch and Totems will be mailed out after the event. WATCH FOR EMAIL NOTICES OF UPDATES!
