KAIROS 2020 - MARCH 20-22

What is Kairos?

“καιρός” is the Greek work referring to the “Lord’s time”. It describes a time in our lives to reflect on who we are and who God is. This retreat is offered to teens in their junior or senior year of high school. They come from many different parishes throughout the entire diocese. These retreats are led by trained peer leaders in high school with appropriate adult leadership from priests and male and female lay ministers.

Why go on Kairos?

Perhaps the question should be, “Why should I spend time reflecting on my life right now? How will that help me?” As you think about your life and where you are headed, maybe you are deciding about going to college. Maybe you are hurt. Maybe you're wondering if God really cares. Maybe you are scared to find out how much He does care about you.

Thousands of teens go on Kairos retreats each year. They discover who they really are and how they want to live. Some go because their friends are going or because they know someone who already went. They go for their own reasons, but all come back changed.
